Hello! I’m 402-1122 Hilda Street - Castleholm Manor, but you can call me Hilda for short. I have so many great features that I can’t wait to tell you about!
First things first, I really take care of myself. I’ve got $180K worth of renovations. That’s ceiling to floor, in case you’re wondering. Everything about me is new, fresh and very chic. My bathroom is like something out of a magazine. All of me is like something out of a magazine. But I digress! I have new laminate flooring, a beautifully tiled shower, and a rain showerhead in my four-piece bathroom. Throughout my kitchen and living room, you will find high-end laminate that perfectly balances with neutral colouring. Each of my two bedrooms boasts wall-to-wall carpeting, with a large skylight and a walk-in closet in one. My kitchen is fitted with quartz countertops, solid wood shaker cabinets, ample storage space and a separate pantry for your convenience! I’m also proud to say that I have a fantastic breakfast bar for those lazy weekend mornings! Personally, I would have to say my favourite feature is my southeast-facing balcony, which has views of the Olympic Mountain range – look no further for your happy place, because I am already here.
I was built in 1970, my roof is tar and gravel, I come with a storage locker and I am wheelchair friendly! I heat myself with electric baseboards and hot water is included in my monthly fees. Speaking of money, my taxes for 2015 were $1,497 and my monthly fee is $438. I come with one parking space too. My square footage clocks in at a spacious 950 square feet with an additional 91 on my balcony. All my fantastic upgrades were done with permits, so you won't have any fuss there either!
Now, let's talk about my neighbourhood. I'm located in Cook Street Village. It. Is. Beautiful. Starting in late February-early March, the cherry blossoms start to bloom. They not only make the neighbourhood look like something out of a storybook but also make it smell lovely. I'm one block away from the heart of the village, which is home to numerous shops, markets and restaurants. If you love organic, hormone-free meat, poultry and fish, swing by McLennan's Island Meat & Seafood for some of the highest quality butchery in the city. Just across the street is Mother Nature's Deli, providing an ample selection of organic, locally grown produce, along with a plethora of other natural health products. Kiddy corner from Mother Nature's is Big Wheel Burger, serving up gourmet burgers in classic fashion. As if that wasn't enough already, pop into The Beagle Pub for a pint of Guinness & a sports game. If pubs aren't your style, walk a few blocks farther and take in the gorgeous views on Dallas Road - I'm less than a 20-minute walk away from Clover Point!
I could go on forever about how great I am because let's be honest, I am, but alas, words can only do me so much justice. Come visit me sometime and see for yourself!
