Our team is passionate about raising funds and awareness for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. We do this through our fundraising events, donating a portion of our commission from the purchase or sale of your property, and various Charity Challenge treks we have participated in.
With your help our team has raised over $228,000 to date! These funds are crucial for shelters which give women a safe place to escape domestic violence. Together we are breaking the cycle of the violence and creating a stronger community.
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. Each year the foundation helps more than 30,000 women and children who are served by these shelters and support programs. The money we raise locally funds four local women’s shelters: Victoria Women’s Transition House, The Cridge Transition House for Women, Margaret Laurence House, and Sooke Transition House Society.
Raise the Roof for Shelter is a Victoria fundraiser started by our team in 2013 to support the Shelter Foundation. Thank you to everyone who has supported the cause over the last eight years, with your help we have raised over $68,000 at this event! We are hoping to host an in-person event in 2022.
