Our team is passionate about raising funds and awareness for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. We do this through our fundraising events, donating a portion of our commission from the purchase or sale of your property, and various Charity Challenge treks we have participated in.
With your help our team has raised over $241,000 to date! These funds are crucial for shelters which give women a safe place to escape domestic violence. Together we are breaking the cycle of the violence and creating a stronger community.
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. Each year the foundation helps more than 30,000 women and children who are served by these shelters and support programs. The money we raise locally funds four local women’s shelters: Victoria Women’s Transition House, The Cridge Transition House for Women, Margaret Laurence House, and Sooke Transition House Society.
Raise the Roof for Shelter is a Victoria fundraiser started by our team in 2013 to support the Shelter Foundation. Thank you to everyone who has supported the cause over the last nine years, with your help we have raised over $81,000 at this event!
After a three-year hiatus of in-person events, our team was thrilled to bring our community together again for this incredible cause in September 2023.
We have finally come down from the incredible energy and love that filled the room at our 9th Annual Raise the Roof for Women’s Shelter fundraiser. For three hours, we mingled, ate delicious bites from Food for Thought Catering, laughed and most importantly – raised money for local women’s shelters. With the help of silent auction donors, event sponsors, fantastic food, beautiful flower arrangements, wonderful drinks, incredible shoes and the generosity of our guests we are thrilled to announce we raised $13,121.00 for The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
We hope you will all join us in raising the roof again in 2024!
